Marybeth is a National Board-Certified Teacher that has been in education for more than 20 years and is currently a Special Education Administrator in the Office of School Support Services. She has worked for the Long Beach Unified School District as a preschool teacher and Program Specialist for the district’s Child Development Centers where she served as member of a leadership team responsible for the implementation of long-term strategies to bring a wide array of affordable child development services to more than 2,000 families in the greater Long Beach area. Deborah Brockus has made her mark in many ways in the dance field of Southern California. She is a dancer, choreographer, showcase producer, teacher, studio owner and director.
Deborah Brockus has been labeled ‘the single most important person in Southland dance” an “impresario”, ‘ the mother superior of LA dance” and ”tireless” by the Los Angeles Times for her involvement in establishing the local dance scene as a producer, choreographer, teacher. Ms Brockus’s choreography has been performed across the USA, Europe and South Korean. She has taught in France, Italy, Czech Republic, South Korea, New Zealand and Mexico. Read More…
